The tights are loaded onto the transparent forms for inspection, then the transfer of the socks from the transparent forms to the ironing forms is carried out by a robot. The 15 pairs of lasts are in side-by-side position at all stages of processing.
The pairs of lasts are closed “folded” only after the drying stage and the socks are defiled by means of a belt defiler, thus presenting perfectly paired and stacked on the carousel or transferred to subsequent forms to be packed.
